LEARN TO PLAY HOCKEY
Our beginner Learn to Play Ice Hockey lessons are available for all ages. Participants must be adequate skaters and ideally possess their own skates.
Learn to Play courses will teach players to combine such skills as skating, stick handling and shooting. Limited equipment is available to rent from Ozone Rink. Rink on a first-come, first-served basis.

No kit? Get in touch
If you’re booking your child on for the first time and has not completed the Skate UK Level 3 classes, at Ozone or at another ice rink, you will need to arrange a 1-2-1 assessment session with one of our resident coaches. Simply email the team at: info@ozonerink.co.uk with the subject (Hockey Assessment request), You will receive contact details for our coaching team to arrange a suitable date and time for you to attend the rink during one of our public sessions. This would last approx. x10 minutes
If you require any loan of kit (our kits fit ages 4 to 12 years) or a stick for the first terms sessions, please just email in with any specific requirements, otherwise it is essential you have the following:
Helmet, Elbow pads, Chest pad, Gloves, Neck Guard, Shin pads ,Shorts, Stick, Jersey and socks, Skates.
